“Our family couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of Prosper ISD!! It’s the primary reason we moved here. Our respect for what Dr. Watkins built in Prosper knows no bounds. Moving from North Dallas, we compared PISD to private schools from a quality perspective and Prosper schools compared favorably for us.

Our kids are involved in the basketball program at PHS and we couldn’t be more impressed with Coach Ellis and his incredible culture. His spectacular guidance and character-based leadership extends way beyond just sports. PISD is undoubtedly a powerful and positive guiding light in the development and growth of our kiddos — and you could not drag us out of this amazing school district! We love PISD!”

“We have called Prosper home for the last 12 1/2 years. Our four kids have been invested in by so many coaches, teachers and administrators and we are especially grateful for those commitments as we watch our oldest cross the stage come May.

We look forward to many more years in this thriving community with our extended family, caring friendships, supportive local church, and fantastic school district!”

“When we moved to Prosper in 2015, one of our major factors was obviously the schools.  At the time, we had a 5th grader, a 2nd grader and a pre-K.  Since then, we've experienced our kids move through elementary, middle and now high school.  We've gone through Covid, new schools, zoning changes, teacher changes and administrator changes.  Through everything, we are as happy with our choice to move here as we were 7 years ago.

With all of this growth and change, it hasn't come without its challenges, but we consistently see our teachers and administrators working hard for our kids and caring for them.

There are a couple specific examples of opportunities within PISD that we are especially thankful for.  First, for the last two years, our youngest has been involved with the junior Hope Squad.  When I talk with parents from other districts about Hope Squad, they've typically never heard of it, and when I explain to them what it is, they aren't sure why they haven't heard about it in their districts.  Second, our oldest daughter has recently gotten involved in Partners PE at Rock Hill, and on the day I'm writing this, she's actually with her group supporting a local Special Olympics event.  Being a part of this class has helped strengthen her sense of service and made her more aware of her ability to help others.

These are a just a few specific examples of the opportunities within PISD that we are thankful for.  They allow us to support our values of community with our kids and do it through the additional support of the district.  We know more changes are coming, and we are thankful for this group of teachers and administrators that seek the best for our kids.”

“Prosper ISD gave my children the opportunity to excel at sports and still be involved in an incredible fine arts program. It is rare to find a district that puts a strong emphasis and both. This is one of the many reasons we chose to move to Prosper.”
